Yenisei Capital raises stake in TransContainer to 25.1% from 24.74%

MOSCOW, Dec 27 (PRIME) -- Yenisei Capital of tycoons Alexander Abramov and Roman Abramovich has raised the stake in railway container operator TransContainer to 25.1% from 24.74%, TransContainer said in a statement on Friday.

Russian Railways said on December 16 that it had withdrawn from ownership of 50% plus one share in TransContainer. The company owned the stake through its 100% subsidiary United Transport Logistics Company, and sold the stake to Delo Group for 60.3 billion rubles in late November.

Besides Delo Group and Yenisei Capital, TransContainer’s shareholders include Russia’s second largest bank VTB, which bought a 24.84% stake from Far Eastern Shipping Company (FESCO) in October 2018 and planned to resell it.
